"Between The Spaces" 24x36

$1,700.00

“Between The Spaces” 24x36” acrylic on raw, clear primed canvas. Unframed.

This sunrise painting of Zion National Park holds a special place in my heart, not just for its breathtaking landscape, but for the way it came into being. I painted it in the earliest days of motherhood, with my newborn son nestled against me, working in small bursts whenever I could find a quiet moment. Each brushstroke was a continuation of the connection we shared throughout my pregnancy—creating together, even before he was born. Someday, I look forward to showing him all the art we made side by side.

The process of bringing this scene to life was both demanding and deeply rewarding. Zion’s dramatic scenery, the challenge of working from a blurry reference photo, and the new experience of painting while wearing my baby all pushed me in new ways. My time was limited, and I had to embrace a slower pace, letting the painting unfold bit by bit. Despite these challenges, or maybe because of them, I’m incredibly proud of what emerged—both the finished piece and the journey it represents.

When I look at this painting, I feel the warmth and promise of a new beginning—the hope and joy that come with the first light of dawn. “Between The Spaces” is a reminder that beautiful things can be created in the quiet, in-between moments of life, especially during times of transition. I hope it brings that same sense of hope and gentle joy to your space.

We only ship to the continental US, as the collector will receive complimentary shipping. Shipping for original art is arranged privately after purchase.
