My children and I take “flower walks” where we put tape around our wrists and find flowers to stick on to make bracelets. A walk around the block can take 30 minutes, but they are truly in awe of dandelions and daisies. I’m often guilty of rushing them through life without seeing things the way they do. Children see treasure in everything, what if we got a little bit of that magic back?
