Coneflowers are known for turning toward the sun, naturally drawn to what helps them grow. While painting them, I found myself thinking about that same idea in my own life—what I give my attention to each day, and how much that shapes how I feel and move through the world.
What would it look like to be more intentional about that? To turn toward what feels life-giving, steady, and nourishing, instead of getting pulled into what feels heavy or draining? There’s so much around us competing for our attention, and not all of it is good for us. But the direction we turn is still something we get to choose.
This piece is a reminder of that choice. My hope is that it brings a sense of calm and encouragement—that it gently nudges you to turn toward what is good, and to let that guide you forward.
